Prices Realised

Bosleys auction of the 2nd November proved a tremedous success for both buyers and sellers a good attendance in the room was complimented by our largest number of online bids to date. some outstanding prices were achieved  including the Special Air Service rare 1943 cast brass SAS cap badge selling for £3,400, a second example selling for £2,800. WW2 Battle of Arnhem 1st Polish Independent Attributed Parachute Badge with Combat Wreath & Family Medal Groups. selling for £3,600, Hat of the Order of the Bath. selling for £3,000, Victorian 6th Inniskilling Dragoons Officer’s 1847 (Albert) pattern helmet selling £3,500. The  final part of a selection of Field Marshal Montgomery ephemera had some big surprises, but the outstanding lot of the day was June 1944  Monty’s Personal Message to His 21st Army Group Signed Typed Transcript which sold for £3,200. The WW2 RAF Bristol Beaufighter Pilot’s Log Book for Operation “Black Friday”, which appeared as a feature story on the Mail online newspaper and other publications hammered £1,400
